Queer singer/songwriter Blake Rave grew up in the Heartland of America, often using songwriting as an escape from an unsettled upbringing. A lifelong musician, Rave discovered his love for creating songs before even being able to write them down. “As far back as I can remember, music has always been my best friend. Even when I felt like I had nothing, I knew I always had music”. Expanding beyond his own self-care, Rave’s wish is to help heal and inspire others through his song. The American-born singer, songwriter and guitar player has found a home in London’s booming music scene, merging country roots with indie pop vibes to create a refreshing, modernistic sound. Blake’s musical journey has been marked by growth and resilience, beginning with an unexpected first gig that set the stage for his blossoming career. His discography showcases his versatility, featuring the album “Dreams and Fears” as well as multiple singles, including the surprise 2023 release ‘Love Is Love.’
