Music Beats Cancer will launch its first annual Concert Fundraiser during National Cancer Survivor Month in celebration of those who have battled or continue to battle and survive cancer. The event will feature music from Led Zeppelin, a red carpet meet and greet our celebrity hosts and biomedical innovators, and a live and silent auction!
Our upcoming Virtual Tribute will be honoring, Bob Marley, who was considered one of the pioneers of Reggae. His music was distinctive for its fusion of styles, its lyrics and spirituality. His contributions to music made him a global figure in popular culture to this day. Unfortunately, he died of metastatic melanoma at the age of 36. Music Beats Cancer will honor the life and legacy of Bob Marley through a Livestream Tribute on the anniversary of his death date. We will raise awareness about melanoma and the innovative practices for screening and treating this disease.
Music Beats Cancer will launch a Virtual Tribute to David Bowie who passed away January 2016 after a long battle with liver cancer. David Bowie is regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. His music and stage presentation and all that he stood for has had a significant impact on popular music and popular culture.
Music Beats Cancer is collaborating with Phacilitate for the Advanced Therapies Awards. The evening will feature a live performance by the acclaimed Matthew Alec and the Soul Electric jazz band, as well as a raffle draw with prizes from the Miami Dolphins!
The Battle of the Biotech’s is a new initiative to “jumpstart” crowdfunding for campaigns on the Music Beats Cancer platform. The Battle of the Biotech’s is a livestream pitch competition between three or more biotech’s for first, second and third place cash prizes.
