Gracelyn is an 18 year old singer/songwriter from New England. She plays guitar, ukelele, piano and drums. Gracelyn was born with slight hearing loss in one ear. When she was 12 she suddenly lost 40% of her hearing in both ears and required hearing aids. She has not allowed her health to hinder her music and has pushed on and worked harder to achieve her dreams. Gracelyn has performed in prestigious venues such as House of Blues, Boston, MA and The Hard Rock Cafe, Foxwoods, CT. She has been the opening act for Lee DeWyze and Howie Day and has performed with American Idol top ten act Erika Van Pelt on a regular basis. Gracelyn has taken college music classes at Berklee School of Music. She was chosen as one of 6 musicians, in over 3000 applications to participate in the House of Blues, Music Forward Foundations’ BDTH 2015. Gracelyn’s music is played on internet radio stations around the world, including Nashville, Florida, Chicago, Texas, Africa and Germany.
