Brooklyn native, KingKLA$$ grew up open to the varying sounds that are New York with influences from places like Chicago and the South. At Howard University, KingKLA$$ is working to cultivate a genre reminiscent of the New York nostalgia presented in hip hop combined with more contemporary sounds from other genre’s. With help from Noble Black Society he aspires to create a new trend in music “who’s only gimmick is talent itself.”  With a laid back flow, and a Brooklyn attitude, KingKLA$$ threatens to recreate the funk of the 90’s era with a more recent twist.
