ABOUT DAVID COPPA & SCRAPPLE

Influenced by many artists and genres from Philadelphia’s diverse music scene and the Texas blues legends, David Coppa’s music could be considered a mix of electric blues and blues rock. He has played alongside Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Ronnie Earl, Marcia Ball, Johnny Clyde Copeland, Sonny Rhodes, Luther Guitar Junior Johnson, Bo Diddly and Lonnie Shields to name a few. This singer, songwriter and gutty guitarist has learned to take chances, and serve up a mix of musical flavors from Albert Collins to Chuck Berry to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix.

Scrapple is currently seasoned with a rhythm section that has featured Pat Coppa on Bass and a plethora of proven percussionists on the pot & pans including Justin Coppa currently holding the sticks and Pat McCann is tickling the keys.
