Music Beats Cancer holds live music events on the third Tuesday of each month. We are excited to announce our upcoming live show on October 20 @ 8PM at Casa Mezcal – 86 Orchard Street NYC.
The event features two live performances by independent musical artists that have aligned with Music Beats Cancer by helping us raise awareness and funds for our cancer-fighting crowdfunding campaigns.
The events are relaxed, often uplifting…and in a certain way unpredictable! Each show is hosted by a well-known TV personality, comedian, model or public figure.
For the night of Oct 20th, Mike Quinn, a New York based attorney turned television personality, was one of the stars of Utopia, will be our Man of the Evening. You can check him out here:
Performing live are two gifted musicians, Prince Harvey and King Cavalli. Each of these artists were drawn to Music Beats Cancer for different reasons.
For Prince Harvey, “My grandmother died of cancer and I want to use the power and influence I have through my music to help save someone’s life.”
For King Cavalli, “I partnered with Music Beats Cancer because of my passion in supporting the war on cancer. I ask my fans to be an integral part in helping me fund new solutions for cancer. It is an honor to bring positivity into a world negatively impacted by a disease our society has no control over.”
The event is 100% free! Not to mention the highlight of each event is an amazing raffle. For Oct. 20th our raffle offering is 2 VIP experience tickets to see Janet Jackson Live in Chicago on November 3, 4, or 6th. You get backstage passes, a meet and greet with the band and an autographed CD of “Unbreakable.” All for $25!
